Hearing Aids
Hearing aid coverage helps pay for devices and associated services needed for hearing impairment. This generally includes:
- Partial or full reimbursement for hearing aids (limits typically apply, such as $500 every 4 years).
- Coverage for repairs, fittings, and assessments related to hearing aids.
- Ear molds, batteries, and other accessories for hearing devices.
- Some plans may also cover cochlear implants or other specialized auditory devices if recommended by an audiologist.
- Periodic assessments by an audiologist or hearing specialist are sometimes covered.
